About Custom Products

This page displays the product type, which is fixed as Custom Product, and the internal product name, herb_product. These values cannot be changed.

You may, however, customize the display name used throughout the system. If you prefer not to use the term Custom Products, you can rename it to options such as My Products, Customized Products, or Formula Products—or any label that best fits your workflow.

The default category is automatically assigned when creating a new product. You may change this default to another category at any time.
Every product must be assigned to a category, so a default is required to streamline product creation by ensuring a category is preselected.
