Automatic Discounts allow you to apply a percentage-based or flat discount to products or formulas without requiring a discount code. These discounts are applied automatically at checkout.
This section controls automatic discounts for a single practitioner only.
An automatic discount:
Applies automatically during checkout
Does not require the practitioner or patient to enter a promo code
Can be set as:
A percentage discount, or
A fixed (flat) dollar amount
Can apply to products or formulas
From the practitioner’s profile, you can create automatic discounts that apply only to that practitioner.
Go to Admin > Practitioners
Open the practitioner’s profile
Click on the Discounts tab
Select Add Product Discount or Add Formula Discount
Enter the discount amount (percentage or flat amount)
Choose the applicable products or formula builders
Save the discount
Once saved, the discount will automatically apply to qualifying items for that practitioner.
These discounts are exclusive to the selected practitioner
They do not affect other practitioners in your dispensary
Multiple automatic discounts can be created if needed
Automatic discounts are applied before checkout completion, without user input
If you want to create an automatic discount that applies to all practitioners, you must configure it in the Global Automatic Discounts section.

Practitioner-specific pricing incentives
Targeted discounts for select products or formulas
Seamless checkout experiences without promo codes
This is ideal for preferred practitioners, special agreements, or custom pricing arrangements.
