Create a Discount Code

Instructions to Create a Discount Code

Click Add New and complete the following fields:

Discount Code

Enter the exact discount code you want to create.
Discount codes are case-sensitive.

Expiry Date

Set the date when the discount code will expire.

Discount Type

Choose the type of discount:

  • Flat

  • Percentage

Amount

Enter the discount value without a percent (%) or dollar ($) sign.

  • Enter 10 for 10% if Percentage is selected

  • Enter 10 for $10 if Flat is selected

Applies To

Select what the discount applies to:

  • Products

  • Custom Formulas

If Custom Formulas

Select the specific custom formula type.

If Products

Select one or more products to apply the discount to.

If Product Category

Select one or more categories the discount should apply to.

Maximum Uses per Customer

Enter the maximum number of times a single customer may use this discount code.

Minimum Order Amount

Enter the minimum order total required to qualify for the discount.

  • Enter the amount without a dollar sign

  • The amount is calculated before taxes, markup, and shipping

Text Shown to User

(Optional)
Enter the message displayed to the user after the discount code is applied. This field may be left blank.
