Names - Custom Products
Custom products have their own independent name type settings, allowing you to configure how product names are managed.
Custom Product Name Types
Custom products can support multiple name types. The following name types are currently available:

English Name
-
Latin Name
-
Pinyin Name
-
Chinese Name
-
Korean Name
-
Japanese Name
-
Sanskrit Name
Default Product Name Type
You can select a default name type for custom products. When creating a new product, this name type is selected automatically.
You may enable or disable name types as needed. Enabled name types are available during product creation; however, products are not required to have a name for every enabled type.
A product may have multiple names within the same name type, such as multiple English names or multiple Chinese names.
