Default Suppliers for Products
Default suppliers allow you to assign a preferred supplier to new products at the time they are created.
This setting will play a larger role in future automation features, such as automatically generating purchase orders when inventory levels fall below defined thresholds. In those cases, products will be ordered from preferred suppliers first, streamlining restocking and supplier management.
