Enabling School Functionality

The School Settings page allows administrators to enable features designed for educational institutions, including the ability to assign Student and Supervisor roles within the system.

Turning on this setting activates additional functionality that supports structured supervision, training environments, and educational workflows.

How to Enable School Mode

Follow these steps to activate school functionality:

  1. Navigate to School Settings in the system.

  2. Locate the Student/Supervisor Roles toggle.

  3. Click the toggle so that it switches from OFF to ON.

  4. Click the Save button to apply the changes.

Once saved, the system will enable school-related role management features.

What This Setting Does

When Student/Supervisor Roles are enabled, the system allows organizations to assign two new user roles:

Student

Students can access the system for learning or training purposes. Their permissions may be limited compared to full practitioners or administrators.

Typical uses include:

  • Clinical training

  • Educational programs

  • Supervised learning environments

Supervisor

Supervisors oversee students and can review or manage their activities within the system.

Supervisors typically:

  • Monitor student work

  • Provide oversight and approval

  • Ensure compliance with training requirements

When to Enable This Feature

Enable School Mode if your organization:

  • Operates as a teaching clinic or educational institution

  • Needs students to access the system

  • Requires supervisors to oversee student activity

  • Provides training or internship programs

Saving Changes

After switching the toggle to ON, you must click Save for the setting to take effect.
If you navigate away without saving, the change will not be applied.

Disabling School Mode

To disable school functionality:

  1. Return to School Settings.

  2. Switch Student/Supervisor Roles to OFF.

  3. Click Save.

Disabling this setting removes the student and supervisor role functionality from the system.
