Import New Premix Formulas

Dispensaries are not pre-loaded with premix formulas because every dispensary uses a different set of formulas. To use premix formulas in your dispensary, you must import them using a CSV file.

If you use Chinese Medicine premix formulas, we provide a prepared CSV template to help you get started quickly.


Where to Import Premix Formulas

Navigate to:

Admin > Settings > Data > Import New Data > Premix Formulas


Chinese Medicine Premix Formulas

If you would like access to a precompiled list of Chinese Medicine Premix Formulas, use the link provided on the import page.

These files can be downloaded, edited as needed, and uploaded directly into your dispensary.


Getting Started

Instructions

  1. Download the Sample File

  2. Open the file on your computer

  3. Fill in your premix formula data

    • Most fields are optional

  4. Save the file

  5. Upload the CSV file to
    Admin > Settings > Data > Import New Data > Premix Formulas


Mandatory Fields

The following fields are required for each premix formula to import successfully:

Default Formula Name

  • Must match one of the name fields provided in the file

  • This name will be used as the default throughout the dispensary


Formula Status

Accepted values (must be written exactly):

  • Publish

  • Pending Review

  • Draft


Formula SKU#

  • Can be any value you choose

  • Must be unique for each premix formula


At Least One Name

You must provide at least one name field, such as:

  • English

  • Pinyin

  • Latin

  • Chinese
    (or any other supported name type)


All Available Fields

You are not expected to fill in every field. Enter what you know and leave the rest blank. Additional information can be added later.

  • Herb Type

  • Formula Status

  • Formula SKU#

  • Default Formula Category

Best Practices

  • Start with only the mandatory fields

  • Use provided premix templates when possible

  • Ensure ingredient names and types already exist in your dispensary

  • Leave optional fields blank if information is not available

  • You can update premix formulas later as needed
