Payment & Shipping Preferences
These settings control who pays for orders and where orders are shipped by default for your account. They define your standard workflow and can simplify checkout by pre-selecting the most common options for your practice.
Payment Settings

Patient Pays
When enabled, your patient is responsible for payment. The patient will receive a payment link and the order will not be processed until payment is completed (unless you are using vouching).

Practitioner Pays
When enabled, you are responsible for payment at checkout. Orders are billed to you directly.
Only one of these options is typically active at a time. Your dispensary may restrict which options are available.
Shipping Selection

Ship to Patient
Orders are shipped directly to the patient’s address.

Ship to Practitioner
Orders are shipped to your clinic or practice address.

Pickup
Allows orders to be marked for local pickup at the dispensary.
These settings define your default behavior during checkout. You can still change the payment method or shipping destination on individual orders, depending on your dispensary’s rules and permissions.
Availability of these options may vary by dispensary. Some dispensaries limit which payment and shipping methods are allowed.
