Overview
This section explains the Images tab for an Ingredient Type. Default Images define which image is used automatically when a new ingredient is created.

Default Image Settings
You can assign a default image to each Ingredient Type.

When a new ingredient is created, the system automatically uses this default image

The default image remains in place until a specific image is uploaded for the ingredient

Each Ingredient Type may have its own unique default image
A default image is used automatically when a new ingredient is created and no specific image has been uploaded yet or for existing ingredients with no custom image. This ensures consistent visuals across your dispensary.
How to Upload a Default Image
You can upload a default image in one of two ways:
Option 1: Upload from Your Computer

Click Choose Files under Upload from Computer

Select an image file from your device

(Required) Enter Alt Information for accessibility
Option 2: Upload from a URL

Paste a direct image URL into the Image URL field
Supports google drive and dropbox image file URL's

(Required) Enter Alt Information
Image Requirements

Recommended size: 300px × 300px
-
Accepted formats: JPG, PNG, JPEG
What Happens Next

The uploaded image becomes the default image
-
It will be automatically applied to new and existing items until a custom image is uploaded
Using default images helps maintain a clean, professional catalog and reduces setup time when adding new records.
