Overview

This section explains the Attributes tab for an Ingredient Type. Attributes define structured properties and characteristics that can be applied to ingredients of a specific type.

What Are Attributes?

Attributes are standardized data points used to describe ingredients. Each Ingredient Type can have its own set of enabled attributes.

When a new ingredient is created using this Ingredient Type:

  • The selected attributes are automatically added

  • Attributes appear in the order defined in this section

You can add, remove, or reorder attributes to match your operational, regulatory, or labeling requirements.

  • Caution with Pregnancy

  • Properties

  • Alcohol Type

  • Alcohol Percentage
