This section explains the Fields tab for an Ingredient Type. Fields define what data points are available for ingredients created under a specific Ingredient Type and how those fields are organized.

Fields store detailed information about an ingredient. Each Ingredient Type can have a customized set of fields enabled or disabled based on your needs.
When a new ingredient is created using this Ingredient Type:
The selected fields are automatically added to the ingredient record
Fields appear in the order defined in this section
You can:
Add fields to the Ingredient Type
Remove fields that are not needed
Reorder fields to control how they appear on the ingredient record
This allows you to tailor ingredient records to match your clinical, regulatory, or operational requirements.
