Product Permissions

There are currently two types of product-level permissions:

1. Tax Permissions

2. Markup Permissions

Tax Permissions

Taxable Product

Determines whether tax is applied to the product. This setting works in conjunction with your global tax configuration.

Markup Permissions

Markup permissions control whether and how markups can be applied to a product.

• Allow Markups
  Markups must be enabled globally to be used. Once enabled, you can turn markups on or off at the product level.

• Maximum Fixed Markup
  Specifies the maximum fixed dollar amount that can be added as a markup.

• Maximum Percentage Markup
  Defines the maximum percentage markup that may be applied to the product.

These permissions allow you to maintain consistent pricing controls while offering flexibility where appropriate.
