Default stock options are automatically applied when you create a new product. These settings establish baseline inventory behavior and can be adjusted later on a per-product basis.
Controls whether products that are out of stock remain visible to users.
When enabled, the product remains visible even if inventory reaches zero.
When disabled, the product is hidden when it is out of stock.
Determines whether users can purchase a product that is currently out of stock.
Yes: Users may purchase the item even when inventory is unavailable. The order will be marked as backordered.
No: The Add to Cart button is hidden, preventing the item from being purchased.
Sets the inventory threshold at which a product is flagged as low stock.
When total inventory falls below this value, the product appears in low stock reports.
This value is applied by default to new products and can be modified for individual products as needed.
