Navigate to Admin → Settings → Inventory to configure how inventory is tracked and managed in your dispensary.
These settings control inventory behavior for single herbs, premix formulas, and products.
Enable or disable inventory tracking entirely.
When disabled, stock quantities will not be tracked.
When enabled, the system monitors available, committed, and used inventory levels.
Controls the size of barcode labels generated by the system.
Select the size that best fits your labeling and printing workflow.
Choose the unit of measurement for liquid herbs (tinctures and concentrates):
Milliliters (ml)
Fluid Ounces (oz)
Important:
If you change this setting after inventory has already been entered, existing stock amounts will not be converted between units. Switching units after use may result in inaccurate inventory data. Use caution when changing this option.
Determines how long inventory is reserved when an order is placed.
When an order is submitted, the ordered quantity is committed for the number of days specified.
Committed inventory is temporarily removed from available stock to prevent overselling.
Example:
If you have 100 g of an herb in stock and an order is placed for 20 g, only 80 g remains available for other orders. If another order requests more than the remaining amount, the system will indicate insufficient stock.
Set this value to 0 if you do not want inventory to be committed.
After the specified number of days, committed inventory is automatically returned to available stock.
Specify how many decimal places are used when tracking inventory quantities.
Different herb types can have different decimal precision.
Separate decimal settings are available for custom formulas.
Choose which barcode format is used by default:
UPC
EAN
Both
These settings ensure accurate inventory tracking, proper stock allocation, and consistency across your dispensary workflows.
