Deleting Ingredients
How Deleting Ingredients Works
Deleting an ingredient is a two-step process designed to prevent accidental removal.
Step 1 – Delete the Ingredient
-
Go to Admin > Ingredients
-
Locate the ingredient you want to remove
-
Click the Delete button in the Action column
After clicking Delete, the ingredient is moved to the Trash. At this stage:
-
The ingredient is no longer active in the dispensary
-
It has not been permanently deleted
-
It can still be restored if needed
Step 2 – Permanently Delete from Trash
To completely remove an ingredient from your dispensary:
-
Open the Trash at the top of the Ingredients page
-
Locate the ingredient
-
Delete it from the Trash
Only after this step is the ingredient fully removed from the system.

can cause issues with historical records, reporting, and fulfillment.
Best practice:
