This opens the ingredient record for editing.
Click the Delete button in the Action column
The ingredient is moved to the Trash Bin rather than permanently deleted
The Trash Bin is located at the top of the page. An ingredient must be deleted from the Trash to be fully removed.
The Buy button allows you to quickly add an ingredient to a purchase order for a supplier.
Before the Buy button becomes available, you must first add at least one supplier product to the ingredient record. Once a supplier product is linked, the Buy button will appear and can be used to add the item directly to a purchase order, streamlining your purchasing workflow.
Deleted ingredients remain in the Trash until permanently removed.
This safeguard allows you to:
Restore ingredients deleted by mistake
Avoid accidental data loss
Important:
Deleting ingredients that are used in existing formulas or custom products can cause issues. Whenever possible, avoid permanent deletion. Instead, consider changing the ingredient’s status or leaving it in the Trash without fully deleting it.
The Ingredient List is the primary tool for managing ingredient availability, organization, and lifecycle within your dispensary.
