Add a Practitioner

There are two ways to add a new practitioner to your dispensary:

  1. The practitioner registers using the Practitioner Registration Form

  2. The admin manually creates the practitioner account


Method 1: Practitioner Registration Form

Requirement:
You must have the Practitioner Portal add-on enabled for this method to work.

Practitioners can self-register if the Practitioner Portal/Website is active on your subscription. By default, the registration form is disabled.


Enable the Practitioner Registration Form

  1. Go to Admin → Settings → Practitioner Website → Registration Form → Settings

  2. Toggle the Registration Form setting to ON

  3. Save your changes

Once enabled, practitioners can submit a registration request.


Configure the Registration Form

You can control which fields appear on the registration form and which fields are required.

Navigate to:
Admin → Settings → Practitioner Website → Registration Form → Registration Form Listings

For each field, click Edit to manage:

  • Field Name
    Change the label shown to the practitioner.

  • Placeholder
    Helper text displayed inside the input field.

  • Position
    Controls the order of fields on the form (lower numbers appear higher).

  • Required
    Toggle ON to make the field mandatory.

  • Status
    Toggle ON or OFF to show or hide the field on the form.


Accessing the Registration Form

You can link directly to the practitioner registration form:

https://yourdispensaryname.dispensarytree.com/?page=register

Alternatively, practitioners can visit:

https://yourdispensaryname.dispensarytree.com

and click Register from the login page.


Method 2: Admin Manually Adds a Practitioner

Admins can also create practitioner accounts manually.

Steps to Manually Add a Practitioner

  1. Go to Admin → Users → Practitioners

  2. Click Add Practitioner

  3. Fill out the required practitioner information

  4. Click Submit


Approve the Practitioner Account

After creating the account, do not forget to approve it.
The practitioner will not be able to log in until their account is approved.


Practitioner Notification Email

Once approved, an email is automatically sent to the practitioner notifying them of their new account.

  • This email can be customized in Admin → Settings → Notifications

  • You may edit the wording to match your dispensary’s onboarding process
